The reasons for the poor germination of pepper seeds can vary, but most of the time the problem lies in the improper planting conditions and the improper care of the crops. Fortunately, it is very possible to speed up the processes that take place inside the planting material by performing a few simple steps.
Factors That Affect
How quickly a pepper will swell can be influenced by several factors.
Lighting plays an important role in the process of growing peppers. The light heats up and causes the shoots to sunbathe so that they begin to reach their source.
However, excessive sunlight can adversely affect the plant: if they fall on the roots and cause their lighting, the seedling will begin to stretch instead of fully growing.
Pepper will peel over time if its habitat is a light, moderately loose soil mixture that provides oxygen access to the root system.
The growth of a plant in heavy or clay soil will be slow or even inefficient. The high density of the substrate simply does not allow the sprout to hatch.
If the soil obtained from the garden is used for planting seeds, it should be supplemented with sand and vermiculite.
In order to send pepper seedlings to a greenhouse or home in time, the seeds should be sown from mid-February to early May.
This will allow the bushes to be transplanted when they reach the age of 60-80 days when the air is warm enough and one can not be afraid of return frosts.

Treatment Before Sowing
Dry planting material germinates much slower than pre-soaked for 6-7 hours. For the procedure, it is recommended to prepare a manganese solution that provides antiseptic function, as well as strengthening the immune system of the culture.
After soaking, the seeds are left on a damp cloth for a few days to hatch. Anyone who does not make it to the next stage during this period can be thrown away.
The soil before planting the seeds is thoroughly watered with a sprayer. The material deepens by 0.5–1 cm or is left on a wet surface and covered with a layer of loose soil.

Monitoring the soil moisture level has a beneficial effect on the condition of the seeds. It is important that the surface of the container is hidden under a membrane before the sprouts appear, however, there should be no condensation on the pots.
To do this, landings must be broadcast daily. Immediately after hatching the first seeds, the coating begins to be removed temporarily, first for a few minutes, and then more and more, for up to half an hour.
